On December 16, 2022, the grand ballroom of the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur was illuminated with glamour and prestige as the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) hosted its annual dinner—an evening that brought together the country's most esteemed design professionals. Among the highlights of the evening was Embun Design Studio’s recognition as a VIP guest, cementing its standing as a respected force within the Malaysian interior design industry.
The exclusive gathering was graced by MIID council members including renowned figures such as Annie Jaid Parker, Ar. Hj. Abdul Halim Suhor, and Lai Siew Hong, all celebrated for their contributions to the evolution of interior design in Malaysia. Amid this distinguished assembly, Embun Design Studio’s Director of Interior Design, IDr. Mohd Nizar Manaf, was formally acknowledged as a registered and licensed member of MIID—a milestone that further validates the studio’s commitment to excellence and professional integrity.
As part of its commitment to advancing the design field, Embun Art Gallery, a subsidiary of Embun Design Studio, proudly sponsored the award for Best Interior Design Company. The award was presented on stage by Embun’s Managing Director, Sheikh Yusoff, signifying the studio’s active role in celebrating and elevating industry standards.
